With outside temperatures getting down in the teens, I think my metal detecting for 2011 is done. This picture represents my dad's finds for the last week before the really cold temperatures arrived. He had 5 quarters from the 60's but none of them silver. He did manage to find a small silver ring.

Howdy Ben,I was just looking through your blog you have had some great finds,it must be hard when the freeze comes to you guys,we are a bit lucky as it rarely gets below 5 degrees here.
ReplyDeleteI just need to come visit New Zealand during the winter here to get my metal detecting fix. Here in Utah, metal detecting usually ends in October - November and starts again in March - April.
