Minelab E-Trac Detector in the Mail

I am a geek, what can I say.  I ordered a new Minelab E-Trac and it is on it's way to my house as I write this blog entry.  Up to this point I have been using my dad's White's XLT or his Garrett ACE 350 detectors.  I have never really wanted to spend the money to get a good detector of my own, but now I have made the jump.  This is the first detector that you can plug into your computer (extra geek points).  From what I have seen online, people who use the E-Trac are finding older coins because of the extra depth it gives you.  I am excited to take this detector to the same places I have been going with the others to see what I can find.  I hope the learning curve is not too bad.
