First Hunt with My Dad for 2012

I talked my Dad into joining me for a hunt at Orem City park.  We have spent a lot of time there picking up all the easy big coins so now we are working our way to the smaller deeper coins.  Here is what we found:
I like to stack my coins by decade to kind of show how old they are.  The oldest coin I found was a 1926 wheat penny.  I found about 4 coins from the 1960's, but no silver ones.
I did find a good ring that I hoped was silver, but there is no hallmark.
My Dad found a ring too.  No hallmark indicating silver, but the metal detector definitely thinks it is silver. That ring is stamped "ANCIENT ECHOS".

First Hunt for 2012

Unseasonably warm weather got me out on my first metal detecting hunt for 2012.  I went to an old park I visited last year in hopes to find some older silver coins.  First find was a Chucky Cheese token.  I didn't find any old silver.  The oldest coin was a 1958 lincoln memorial cent.
This SKEPTI-BARAK USH trade token was the most interesting find of the day.
I was feeling a little bad that I didn't find any silver, but when I got home and looked at the back of this little key clip, it said 925 MEXICO.  So I did get a little silver after all.
